I’ve been messing a bit with Meshcore, a competitor to Meshtastic.
I’m not replacing my stationary Meshtastic node.
I had considered setting up a Meshcore node alongside it, but I’m second guessing this because, as it turns out, Meshcore is not compltely open source.
I’ve also seen literally zero nodes outside of my 2.
So yeah, not entirely open, and not widely deployed, makes it not super useful and might introduce trust issues.
I think I’ll look at reticulum next.
