Another arcane Apple bug: If you use the new formatting features in Apple Notes, your note will no longer sync w/Macs running an old version of MacOS. The note will just disappear! Took me a while to figure out the cause, and I fixed it by removing that formatting. Apple Notes is a mediocre product.
