In all seriousness, I've brought keyboards from home to work before because I wanted to be comfortable.
Mechanical keyboards are pricier, but they're not all outrageously expensive.
I don't think you need a "gaming keyboard" with RGB, but if you want a mechanical keyboard, you can get one certainly for <$100
