I heard a stat today that ~75% of folks in #US don't feel comfortable w/ the course of AI development, incl. in matters related to its safety, regard for privacy & data centers' demand for power & water.*

But I'll tell you – Nothing says "don't worry" like a bunch of tech oligarchs who have *also* been sounding the AI alarm (particularly about its safety) gathered around current US president Trump (who says AI is amazing; his family is invested in AI development). (🙄🍟)
