#Nostr I am very excited to release the next major milestone for the Nymchat android and iOS apps, with push notifications that DO NOT use Google services or Apple APN server, and with an opt-in background network/bluetooth connectivity to power them. When enabled, the relays should not disconnect when the apps are backgrounded. No 3rd party push provider ever learns that you received a mention or message, unlike what deanonymized a Signal user.
