"fundamentally to my core I do not believe America is a fascist country" - this coming from one of the most high-profile political pundits in the US is pure delusion. The precious liberal institutions were utterly unable to deal with DJT in 4+ years when he wasn't in power, even if they had plenty of reasons and opportunities to do so. To think they'll do something while he is in power is nonsense. Unless there is strong mass resistance by tens of millions of people, we all are effed.
