I think the Sumeruan version is oldest. They brought the seed of all animals, not 2×2. They also didnt end up on a mountain.
Then there's the Gilgamesh version. I think that boat was a literal cube. Not sure what it says about animals. Something though...
Then comes Noah. Genesis is a bit of a patchwork of stories stitched together.
There's a Hindu version of this as well.
