it’s a bit of a long story. Military aircraft are difficult to convert to civilian use. It’s based on a DC-10, but heavily modified. There’s no civilian equivalent. It’s probably never been type certified. To get that done would only be worth it for a new design that’s going to be mass produced. Even if it was type certified, the ongoing maintenance and running costs for those would be eye watering.
