I used to love consoles, back in the day, but these days they are just abhorrently bad value for money. I bought a second hand PS4 base model just to use as a bluray player because it was dirt cheap, but that's as close as I'm ever likely to get to owning anything modern console wise. PC may be more expensive (Though not always) but their value proposition is, comparatively, through the god damn roof.
