#AskFedi I am looking for a short story I read in the 90s on an undergrad anthology textbook: In the story, a young man is hired to put on a papier-mache costume of a chess piece, to be in a game of chess at a rich people's party, it starts to rain a lot, the rich people leave the field, and the other pieces start fighting among themselves.
