I want to move someone from Windows to a Linux distro. He's not techy at all so wants something that will look familiar and work. Compatibility paramount, especially for web and an Office replacement.
He browses the web, makes/uses documents, and streams video and listens to/catalogues music.
I think Mint can run off a thumb drive, yes? I suspect he'd be happier trying it out before committing but the idea of a partitioned drived freaked him out when I explained it.
Suggestions?
