The military will just follow orders. It's what they do. They only stop following orders if a general thinks he (it's always a he) can grab the brass ring, and honestly, that doesn't happen all that often. Military coups and juntas and so forth are usually symptoms of a larger problem, not reactions to one.

So I guess what I'm saying is that the US military is going to Prussian-Wehrmacht-generals themselves into oblivion. Don't count on them to do shit about fuck. That's my prognosis. And I'm not sure I want them to do shit about fuck anyway, given that military coups and juntas and so forth are usually symptoms of a larger problem, not reactions to one.
