PeerTube I’m finding difficult, they’ve implemented V4V but I’ve been unable to set it up for streaming. I started using it 3 years ago when I decided I wanted my band music videos to be on my own server and not dance to g00gle’s tune using YouTube. That was the start of my journey and I’m nowhere near finding the ideal solution.
I’m always having conversations with musicians saying don’t do Spotify’s advertising for them, point people to Bandcamp, Wavlake or Mirlo (start up similar to Bandcamp). Most musicians know about Bandcamp but there’s a hell of a lot of ground to cover getting them to Wavlake, although I do my best.
I honestly don’t have any answers but I’ll keep trying alternatives. There’s so much going around my head about this stuff at the moment but it’s a struggle to put succinctly!
