not locking a cat your cat in a box is not "banishing it", it's just not imprisoning it. animals really benefit from being able to have freedom

and people have been doing this for ages and it hasnt led to some ecological disaster so the idea that you have to kill or imprison cats to avoid depopulating other species cant be true
