Can we all just admit the original Beetlejuice is a good looking, bad movie?
Mediocre acting, slow and yet rushed at the same time, a thin plot and an ending that makes zero sense, including some very sudden deus ex machina.
And then there's Beetlejuice (or is it Betelgeuse?) himself. How they built a children's cartoon around a character who sexually harasses women and attempts a forced marriage with a child bride, I'll never know.
