I was downtown and picked up a copy of The Pleasures of Italian Cooking by Romeo Salta. Not because I had high hopes for a mid century American Italian cookbook but because Romeo just looked amazing. But, the recipes look great, a far cry from the canned sauce and "yellow" cheese I was expecting. This recipe for pasta with lentils is intriguing (and vegan) I'm going have to try it soon! #food #alcohol #cooking #recipe
