My commute to work is a short bike ride - about 10 minutes on a good day. And on that short journey everyday I witness multiple breaches of Road Traffic laws. This morning's list:

- parking in a bus lane
- pulling out without indicating
- driving in a bus lane
- breaking a red light
- using a mobile phone while driving
- driving without lights
- driving with defective lights

One garda on a bike could keep himself very busy cycling around Dublin's streets in the morning.
