Techy people - I, an idiot, apparently failed to transfer the folder of images from my elderly camera's SD card to my laptop before a) formatting the card and b) taking more photos with it. Do I have any chance of getting the original pics back? (I shan't be able to try any solution until at least Sunday anyway, but I'm interested to hear whether anyone has ever managed this - initial verdicts have been "you're screwed", but seeing as those pics were almost the entire point of me being on the Isle of Man and I can't go back and take em again due to lack of time and batteries... I'm a bit bloody miffed)
