Two important take-aways for me:
"Woke," whatever it is, is something that concerns mainly the urban academic middle class. Other people don't really need to worry about it.
The function of "woke" is mainly symbolic. The opinions may be genuine, but the willingness to effect real social change just isn't there. No "woke" revolution will ever take place.
