I cannot imagine a more damning indictment of the state of software development than seeing the single most successful consumer hardware company in the world instructing a piece of software they created and control that is running on hardware they created and control from screen to silicon, in vernacular English, "do not hallucinate."
I wonder if AI would break even on power consumption if we hooked a generator up to Turing and Church's corpses while they spin in their graves.
