my biggest problem with bridges is they're always ugly. i would respect it more if people were just like "it looks like ass when half-working, often truncated posts are shoved into a network its not meant for" and blocked it on those grounds but even that i think is silly. it's still useful. id like to, and have, spent more time on fedi than on bluesky lately by far, and one of the best ways to really get off that shithole would be if i could interact more reliably with bluesky posts without bothering to log in to bluesky at all, and that's hard to do with like 90% of the fucking fedi blocking the bridge entirely
