A lot of research but the productization thereof is in the dumpster.
VCs don’t understand it (or anything else besides apps, let’s be real) and companies with the infrastructure to produce it are so wedded to Li+ demand that they’re too skittish to try to commercialize anything else.
Seriously, it’s been 10yrs since my company started using LTO and there’s still nothing better out there for our use case (high utilization, high safety factor, easy recharge availability)? Wack.
