I don't think Western governments and media establishments understand how much credibility they've lost through their entirely uncritical support for Israel, or how durable that loss is going to be for the foreseeable future.
I expect that in 10 years or so people will look back and see that entire political ideologies were upended and discarded and entire media empires were decimated simply because they chose Israel over truth, justice, decency and reality.
