I have a laptop running Linux and I would like to achieve this outcome: mounting a local NFS share on boot, but only if I am on my home network (because otherwise there is a pointless hang while it tries to mount a share that can't be found). What is the nicest way to achieve this?
Am prepared to countenance other solutions such as Samba if necessary, as long as the outcome when working at home is that a shared folder is mounted on boot but not if away from home.
