And no doubt, in the United States it may make sense for some, but I, for example, who make and listen to podcasts in Spanish, don't earn anything by promoting something that isn't sold outside the US, or listening to something that isn't sold in the US.
Even the dynamic advertising that I've managed to listen to based on geolocation is from companies that don't interest me.
In short, I'm not one of those people who buys through advertising, and I'm one of those who chooses not to listen to podcasts with advertising, just as I'm one of those who chooses not to listen to exclusive podcasts from closed platforms that don't offer a public RSS.
Do you have a paid podcast with RSS? Fine... I can use whatever podcatcher I want. Am I forced to use a specific application? No thanks.
