There's always the option to run the Adobe crap (yeah i have a personal hatred for them) isolated in a win VM. I use Serif's Affinity stuff like this, and it's good enough.
Until all the software houses have understood that Linux is no longer "niche", the Windows-VM approach is probably gonna stay with us. But it's definitely workable.
Recommend VMware Workstation (free now), because the graphics performance is superior.
