Across Canada, 20,000 people in 70 communities took to the streets to DRAW THE LINE for People, for Peace, and for the Planet.
Here in Ottawa–Gatineau, 2,000 of you marched together, making our voices impossible to ignore.
WHY WE MARCHED
On September 20, people across Ottawa–Gatineau — and across the world — stood together to draw the line against systems that put profit before people and the planet.
This march was about more than a single day of protest. It’s the beginning of a long-term, coast-to-coast alliance: labour unions, Indigenous movements, migrant justice organizations, climate activists, seniors, faith groups, and peace advocates are uniting to defeat the anti-people agenda we are up against.
Our governments must choose: side with the people, or side with the billionaires.”
