he was right about heat pumps being good for more climates than you'd think
but totally wrong about sizing them. it's not at all reasonable to size a heat pump so it'd have to run continuously on just the average coldest day of the year to barely keep up with demand. and if you think "just put on a coat inside lol" is a good thing to say to your customers calling to complain that their heat pump isn't working right, your HVAC company should crash and burn.
