while not realistic in these times, my hope for affordable housing is a policy change with a nod to sweden… residential property can only be owned by individual human residents (no vcs or hedge funds, etc) and in order to rent it out, the human owner/s must live it in one year out of three.

i think it would change a lot of things at one, in a prosocial, more equitable sort if way. (i’m in the u.s.)
