My one procedural quibble with all this is the Tories suffering a historic defeat is subjecting me to British newspeople pretty routinely saying "an historic defeat," which, as fluid and many-splendored as I recognize the language to be, is a stupid fucking construction that makes no sense, sounds awful and should be ended and burned in the town square.
