Yes this may be a problem for Vance also - he is more intelligent than most of the GOP but even though he didn't come from an upper class background he doesn't really compute for the average Joe as a striver who worked his way up. And his wife is a Hindoo while he is trying to court the rising Christian nationalist demographic.
