Today's pixel art tip from me is about skin tones! I finally figured out how to do dark skin tones without them becoming greyscale or ashen, and now the Oldarth Twins finally look how I wanted them!
The trick is RED. If you take the white skin tone, move the hue towards red, and then reduce the brightness/value. You end up with a rich dark tone. Do the reverse to go the other way!
