Saxophone, specifically Bari Sax, Bass Clarinet, and Flute.
I played a lot of big band jazz, some combo stuff but prefer big band.
Performed like 70% jazz with the other 30% being a mix of
theatre (traditional like Phantom, Le Mis, Brigadoon; and the modern show style),

I don’t play anymore however working on starting a publishing company with a buddy of mine who has recently sold a large quantity of piano music. So I might be getting back into the comp and arranging aspect.
I didn’t intend to quit when I moved to Florida from Vegas…I really just wanted a pause, a breathe so to speak.
But…
1. Music scene in Florida is very much Disney (extremely regimented), Miami (I don’t live near there), Cruise Ships (having never been on a ship before the idea of 6 months at sea in a regimented environment when I was coming from a place where I had a lot of freedom and control in what I played…didn’t excite me)
2. Life…meet a girl, sell the boat, sell the truck, buy a minivan, have a kid 🙃💍 LOL
I’d rather spend my time with them than playing music by myself so to speak.
