I saw a sign yesterday that said something like, "keep door closed or use quickly", and my first question was, "but, why?"
If you tell me why, it's way more likely that I'll comply, cause some times signs are temporary, sometimes they are really important, but if I can't judge which, cause I don't know the reason, I'll end up winging it and if I getit wrong during the important ones, it can cause a lot of trouble.
So, giving the reason why if actually more important than simply putting up a sign that says what to do or not to do.
