If going Bull Bitcoin it is not necessary to be KYC'd.
You can create an account with name and email only, then take your account QR to any Canada Post outlet to make a Loadhub payment wuth cash into your Bull account. (under $1000)
Don't enter phone number or anything more even if asked, they have different levels of accounts.
From Bull you can then buy BTC and send it via Lightning or on chain to wherever you want. (small amounts with Lightning, $100 minimum on chain)
Most of the time Canada Post workers don't know what Loadhub means so just show them the QR and say payment, they then get it.
I made a wallet card with my QR (it never changes) easier than logging in and showing phone IMO.
