:-) You made me remember that the Yellow Pages in the US would often have a map for the town the phone book was made for. On many of my business trips I'd be in a town that my Atlas didn't have too much detail for I'd then look for the phone book to figure out where I needed to go. I tore out some of those map pages to take with me too.

If you were ever in a motel and the phone book was missing its map, then it was me.
