Halving the production matters. It is not priced in.
It gets sorta priced in during the two year period on each side of the halving.
There are 210,000 blocks per halving. Divide those blocks into 12 periods(each period is about 4 months or 17500 blocks) and you see a pattern.
We are currently about 80% done with the 9th period of this cycle.
