In the last ten days, two Conservative MPs defected to the Reform Party
So when an MP is voted in to represent one party & then defects to another, should this trigger a by election ?
While MPs represent a local area, we also elect them on their party’s policies & values
If they switch sides, people feel they voted for one thing & got something else
