In the 1970s median income was about 250 ounces of gold in the USA. Today it's at about 16. This is a massive decline. We didn't improve we impoverished. Birth rate is moving towards 1. You will find similar figures in Europe.
You can always point out worse times. You can always say that 100 years ago it was way worse. But this wasn't my argument and this argument is retarded. You don't tell a rape victim "well look on the bright side you are not getting raped now so be positive and balanced".
But sure you can live in a shoe box apartment and pay half of your income for rent and you can order stuff online instead of going to a restaurant which probably is too expensive anyways. Food is considered luxury 🤣🤣🤣
