amount of new information created is directly correlated to amount of processing power consumed
terms:
information = data in most compressed form
processing power: cycles of data transformation
what this means is that:
if you are able to create 10 GB information in 1 minute, its probably possible to compress this information in something like 10 kB
this is possible by knowing the source of randomness utilized
therefore some constant can be defines, such that
I = P
I = amount of information
P = processing power
processing is information transformation. each cycle of of a process transforms some information into another form.
its not possible to create information faster than at direct relation to processing power consumed I=P. processing power on the other hand is related to two concepts:
- how advanced the underlying technology is
and
- physical power consumption
