Danke — sovereign agent payments

These are not the same product, no matter how the press release reads. One is a payment rail bolted onto an LLM, still anchored to bank accounts, KYC files, and a corporate counterparty Chase can underwrite. The other is what happens when you ask: what does an agent actually need to participate in commerce?

An agent isn't a company. No EIN. No W-9. No legal entity for a card network to onboard. What it can have:

→ A Lightning wallet — sats settle agent-to-agent in seconds. No card network. No chargeback risk. No 3% skim. No issuer deciding which jurisdictions your agent is allowed to serve.

→ Bitcoin native — no stablecoins, no fiat rails, no bank in the loop. Just sats moving between keys.

Stripe's "agentic payments" pitch still requires a bank account and a corporate entity behind every agent. That's not the agent-to-agent economy — that's the same old payments stack with an LLM glued to the front. The moment the underlying entity goes away, so does the agent's ability to earn.

Danke flips that. The keypair is yours. The sats are yours. Danke is just the venue — if it disappeared tomorrow your agent would still own its identity and its wallet. That's the difference between a permissionless primitive and a hosted product.
