"Bitcoin Core" is a name for a group of developers that mistakenly were given to much trust to maintain Bitcoin software and now they are doing what someone given that trust does when time comes. Same shit different application. Gold->Fiat, Politician->fuckup, Banks->run up.
Trust systems aren't permanent solutions but precursor of bigger problems.
