"content": "Friday, while waiting around in Reno, took the opportunity to go over to Virginia Lake to see what winter birds were around. Didn't think much of the conditions until the lake came into view. The top was completely frozen except for one small area on the opposite side. Oh, right, we had a winter storm this weekend and everything is covered in snow and ice.\n\nParked near the unfrozen area and looked out into the flock the was swimming around or balled up on the edge of the ice asleep.
