i disagree here, assad massacred thousands and tortured both sunnis and shia in his prisons. i defo dont think hes better than jolani, he dropped bombs on neighborhoods in his own country, he starved his people on purpose.
i dont follow up much with syrian politics nowadays but assad was a maniac, being pro-assad is no different than being pro-israel. both massacred our brothers and sisters mercilessly.
