Good morning!
Today's walk was cool at 62F (16.6C) and uneventful.
Theo has begun coming to sit on my desk, then drooping his head down almost to his front toes. It took a while, but I realized he's asking for scritches on the back of his neck and between his shoulder blades. Happy to oblige.
I've been thinking about how stressed we all are -- in the USA anyway -- wondering what will happen next. Will our healthcare be taken away? Will we be able to afford getting ill? Will we be able to afford groceries? Will there be a fair election ever again? Couple that with the extra stresses of being black or brown or trans. Add in the embarrassment and shame over our president and his flunkies, and it seems everyone I know is on edge.
Just be kind, to yourself, to each other, to strangers.
