I hate when they automatically balance quotes and braces. I have this habit of typing ()←, it’s as fast as the IDE doing it (faster, even, if it’s a fake IDE written in JS,) and I can read my own mind to know when I should not do it because I just want the one character. Even worse is when I select a word, type a quote, and instead of replacing the word with a single quotation mark, it keeps the word and surrounds it with quotes. I hate it.
