Has anyone else noticed now, in the end stages of #capitalism, that you really don't own anything anymore? You now purchase a revocable license to use a product or service, you don't own it. And when revoked, you are not entitled to a refund. This is why I choose to use #Linux, #BSD, and #opensource software. But in these times, it's impossible to avoid the trap completely.
