Since there is some confusion about this, I never supposed that Hyprland was some kind of obscure "dark web" project. Instead I compared the discourse around Hyprland (and connections to it via Brodie, Lunduke, etc) to the broader social conception of the "Intellectual dark web", which I cited in a follow up to clarify:
