He did participate in a panel of judges that provided advice on whether to provide arrest warrants for Israeli and Hamas leaders on charges of war crimes in May of 2024. Meron, alongside the other 7 judges, advised the ICC prosecutor to provide these warrants.
It worth mentioning that he was a member of the Israeli foreign service in the 1970s.
