I have a few memories from age 2-3. Sent to live with grandparents at 18-months old to age 3 years. Mother was in hospital at that time. Smell of people’s skin, baking bread & Maple syrup cookies. Do not recall going back home or much else until about age 5.
Photo about 1950, Girl cousin 2 years older visited me in 2022. Barns & house from about 1800 are still standing. Family farm 1810-1986.
